A Unique Treatment Facility

At Journey we take pride in the high level of dedication and care our staff show for each individual who enters our facility. Many of our staff are in recovery themselves, and having gone through their own battle with addiction, they know exactly what our residents are going through. The staff's empathy and understanding with each resident lends to a more comfortable and open atmosphere for healing. Our residents always get a heart-felt, unique experience here at the Journey Centers. Because of the incredible steadfastness and strength of our staff, each resident is able to connect with one on a personal level and look to them as examples, mentors, and their hope for a better, more sober future.

Treatment Options

At Journey, we believe in holistic healing, or healing the person as a whole instead of merely focusing on one problem. In this philosophy, we offer a number of different treatment options depending on the needs and preferences of each resident. We provide independent counseling, or one-on-one sessions with a counselor. This allows the focus and discussion to be solely on that individual resident. Journey also offers group therapy sessions. This is a beneficial technique because our residents can be assured that they are not alone in their struggle, and they can look to their peers for help, guidance, and perspective. Another type of therapy is family therapy because addictions don't just affect the person who is addicted, but have an extended effect on the families as well. All these therapies combined work to treat the resident and resolve not only the addiction, but also the other issues that inevitably follow.

The treatment programs at Journey can range from 28 to 90 days depending on the individual needs of the client. Following this treatment, aftercare needs are then assessed and determined. All Journey clients receive free aftercare for life. Journey's meetings will always be open to any previous resident should they feel the need to attend. During the 28 to 90 day stay at Journey, the resident will be able to receive our effective and customized healing programs to fit them specifically. They will be able to participate in all counseling and therapy sessions, and also enjoy the added healing qualities of our various activities such as Yoga, Nature Walks, Massage Therapy, or Painting.
