What are the eight limbs of yoga?

Journey Healing Centers focuses on Yoga primarily as a healing practice for men, women and children of all ages.

The eight limbs of yoga have been a part of Hinduism for thousands of years. Here’s what they are and their meanings.

Here are Some Type of Limb

1.The Leg is a long and strong muscle that helps you to balance on two feet. It also helps keep your body upright when sitting or standing up straight.

2. The Arm has muscles in it too but its main job is carrying things around with its hand attachment at the end called a Hand (you can’t see this part because it’s inside). The Arms help us do lots of daily tasks like building furniture IKEA style!

3. Feet have tough skin all over them to protect our toes from being stepped on. Feet come in handy for running and jumping through puddles without getting soaked – so fun! But they’re not very helpful for grabbing things.

4. The Hand is a very nimble and flexible limb that can do lots of different tasks around the house like typing on your laptop, cooking dinner or tying up your shoes.

5. A Wrist helps you to pick things up with its hand attachment called Fingers (you can’t see this part because it’s hidden). A wrist also lets us rotate our arm in circles so we can play sports like tennis without hurting ourselves!

6. Some other types of limbs are: The Head, which has two hands – Ears; they’re not actually ears but they help humans hear by picking up sound waves from outside their body. They stand out boldly against most human skin tones too which means people will check them out!

7. The Spine is a long and flexible bone that helps us stand up straight. It’s also important for helping the human body to balance and move around – it does an excellent job too! The Chest has two arms attached called Arms; they’re big with lots of muscles so we can do many things in life like running, carrying groceries or typing on our computers. You’ll find one arm on each side of the chest because people have two sides to their bodies (sounds about right?).

8. And finally there are Legs which help you walk quickly from place to place without getting tired easily. They aren’t very good at picking things up though but what would be the point if your torso could already pick them up?

The eight limbs of yoga are a framework for understanding and practicing the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga.
